i have win xp (pre installed) on drive c of my laptop. i installed windows vista on another drive. now i want to uninstall vista completely from my laptop, even i don't want the selection screen at start up. can somebody help me?

You cannot actually uninstall Windows Vista. If you wish to get rid of it, you must install another operating system on your computer instead. This will overwrite Windows Vista. If you install another version of Windows, it will not write over your files that were stored on Windows Vista. Instead, it will give you the option to import them into the new operating system. Still, it is always a good idea to back up all your files before making any major changes to your computer.
