i wanted the specs because my bro bought a htc viva with windows mobile 6.1 professional....
the phone almost had the features same as the E6....
200mHz processor
128 mb ram
240x320 screen resolution
no idea about the ROM
2g network

when this phone can run windows 6.1 professional,why cant the E6 run?

the E6 has
300mHz processor(can be overclocked upto 620mHz)
48 mb ram(can be swapped upto 128mb)
240x320 screen resolution
2g

Well to begain with to run WM6.1 you going to need a phone with a processor better than 300mhz because with my Core 2 processor clocked at 530mhz my phone was Freezing every day(until I Flashed to 6.5 no it dosen't hang at all). 2. yes the E6 can be overclocked and swapped but this is in linux not WM6.1 you would have to make both those programs yourself to even do this,Can you make these types of programs???? What I'm basically saying it's not even worth thinking about . And I can't tell just by reading your brothers phone stats with that 200mhz processor WM is going to leave a bad taste in his mouth if you get what I'm saying.

what is different in HTC touch viva from our ROKR E6?(in terms of hardware)

They seem pretty much the same except the touch viva has more ram(which is crucial for runningWM6) and the E6 has a way better processor.

Honestly antything is possible with the E6 I would just be worried about the ram size of the E6 thats what would affect the performance of WM6. lol atleast 50%, I would say that back in 2008 but in 2009 they came out with some really good phones, I would change to atleast 35%.
