Finally meet my new baby O2 Atom Life

Hi Smaniac, I am discussing phones with special features. I mean phone which look like phones. HTC TyneII wieghts 189 grams, its little bit fatter than Atom Life, Even O2 Flame is too bad for carryable shape, which you wont put in your pocket. You will always need a blazer for that or a big waste pouch.

Remember HTC Tytn II have 128mb phone memory for end User and Life have 1 GB.

I am installing all my softwares on phone memory so I can remove memory card anytime and use all softwares installed in phone with different Memory cards. Just imagine few movies in MiniSDHC cards in your wallet and you can change them easily from top slot LIKE WE DO CHANGE MOVIE CD/DVDS.

ALL O2 ATOM MODELS ALLOW MEMORY CARDS TO BE INSERTED IN PHONE FROM TOP WITHOUT OPENING IT. JUST SLIDE IN. What I mean is this 1gb helps a lot to store applications and you never loose them when you remove memcards.

SManiac , Go for this only, this phone have everything from FM Radio to Office mobile. Main camera is great.

THIS PHONE ONLY LACKS GPS, but its ready for external GPS. There is a ready option to setup external bluetoogh GPS with com port setings.

You can easily pair any Bluetooth GPS unit with this. Just noticed a branded GPS device on ebay at $70 with SurfstarIII GPS Antenna and TomTom software, the world's best.

Its always advisable to keep GPS unit seperate as everyone in your family can use the same device in car with different phones with everyone.

Xperia is not small and light than my phone, its Tall (110mm : 104mm) and same weight (145g) I mentioned 106mm before it was mistake.

But the other features of XPERIA are kick a$$ man, though not officially available in india at the moment, may be it will be here in a week or two.

Still I wont take it if it costs more than US$600. I hope its less than that. All the features are great. I advice you to to Go for it dude!

I liked its WM6 with 800x480 3 inch screen and 3G capability.

X1 doesn't support GPS: A-GPS != GPS. Devices with only A-GPS has no radio link with satellites. They use navigation information provided by GSM Providers A-GPS is location based GPS and not available when you are outside the location.
GPS Antenna (like SirfStarIII) catches FREE signals, A-GPS may be charged by GSM providers under Value Added Services.

If sound output is good, will sure buy Xperia for big screen when warranty of my O2 Atom Life expires. lolz, but i mean it. And costs will also come down till then....or a new model by that time he he he. These days features are so tempting.

Actually A-GPS = phone antenna + GPS signal. That's why it's called Assisted GPS, because the phone assists the GPS, instead of replacing it.

Phone antenna based positioning doesn't need any extra hardware, even Ming can have it.

It will cost between $1000 and $1200.

Its too bad that companies still release some phones only for certain countries, rite now i would be holding an e6 if motorola wasnt so gay to not release it on brasil (yes br ppl that want a ezx have no choice but ming)..same with that O2, there no O2 in brasil.....

In the end of this year im getting a HTC Kaiser that HTC have released in brasil with pt_BR language and its available here since its release. This is a company i will support cuz it supports my contry (yes kaiser is old already and will be even older at the end of the year but here in brasil u cant pick wat u want *O2*)

By the way, where is it selling here in Brazil? I found it on the official HTC site, but couldn't find it for sale or the price.
