    Unhappy RE Flashing a M1000

    Hello,

Have bought a Motorola M1000, but when I see the Firmare page, it says A1000!, so I have not the capabilities of the M1000: WiFi that I think is the most important.

I would like to install the origina M1000 firmare, but I don't have the USB cable and it's impossible to buy one (living in South America)

    My questions:
Where can I find a service manual for this model? or
Can I made myself a USB data cable? or
find schematics of the Motorola Proprietary USB?
Other ways to install the M1000 firmware, with the Micro SD maybe?
Can I install the Wifi soft only?
    ideas? other solutions?

    Thanks...

    GEC

thanks for sharing the firmware with us here..actually i had this firmware long time ago from a1k.co.uk/planetmobile.it but it didn't fix my M1000 from being using A1000 baseband (A1000_U_34.30.01P) but the other are change to REL_62.30.01J with SA1860A013 flex & SA1860A_T673RG_026 as AP config...
this firmware combination can connect as modem on PC & charging the battery flawlessly BUT still still have bugs on sending sms 3-4 times for each messages...

yes, its 100% are compatible for M1000..
i had flash my M1k using those cable to test is it equal or not, and found good result with it..
so all of you M1k user who have lost the data cable could give it a try..
