need help with moto z6w...

i know this is the rokr section but its probably the closest thing to the z6w. i just purchased this phone and my provider is fido. im using mpt to upload mp3's but the phone wont let me use them as ringtones. i then used msu(motorola software update) then the p2k commander to change the attributes of the files and it seems nothing gets changed. i also used the new seem player from poetic pholly to try changing the seem and still nothing. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. also if anyone knows how to unlock this phone or acquire a subsidy code it would be great as well.
