Apps: PDF and Doc viewer for the Z6

Hello. I got my phone only yesterday. I installed these apps and followed the instructions as in the sticky (the registry.txt was in .system/java_355556010152504/... and not under .system/java/... ) Then I copied some sample documents. These documents now cant be opened. They have a crossed red circle against the names.
Also, how do i open the applications themselves. How do I browse to them?
Sorry for the many questions. I am newbie to this phone and system.

Well. Looks like missed the message that the app is available under 'Games'. Silly me.
Anyways, I am also getting the same problems as mentioned by the people above.
After installing, I was able to start these apps partially. Pdf viewer showed couple of screens and hung. The doc viewer proceeded till the menu, but none of the menu items worked
Later, after changing the registry.txt, the applications would not even start erroring out with out of memory errors.
BTW, where else can I get games/apps for Z6.

We might be able to fix this issue, it seems to be a problem with the java limits of these phones.. Stay tuned for a fix.

guys did anybody figured out the prob, my firmware is 17r same problem. no fun when u r not allowed to install apps.........Gmail also doesnt work.

Gmail works fine here. Firmware R60_G_80.33.2BR...
Honestlly, I´m a bit desapointed with Z6 and Motorola. I´ve paid extra R$ 200 (or US$ 100) for Z6 instead Z3, tinking that it would be something like an A1200, smaller and better looking, but telenet restrictions are really screwing up this device. I can´t belive we´re going to be stuck on java app...

I´m thinking about bricking my device and then return to Motorola (here in Brazil they seem to be to lazy to actually check the problem. Is the device dont starts up, they simply change the mainboard or replace de product. happend twice with my older V3, while I was trying to re-falsh). And than ask for a A1200 in replacement...

motorola on one side supports open source and on the other restricts open minds to explore, thts crap totally...........

For those of us who got straight to this thread from a search engine and have no idea what a sticky is, it can be found here.

I followed the directions and the pdf viewer hangs at the second splash screen. The doc viewer loads to the main screen but the menus do nothing, and I cannot find anything like a midlet folder for it to edit the registry settings. Be sure to edit the registry settings on the card, not the main phone.
