Phone keeps flashing the flash mode

the phone doesnt turn on and when i plug it in to charge it, the flash mode screen just comes up, and lately when i try to charge it, the phone flashes the flash mode screen on and off really quickly.

If it is under warranty , get it replaced.

No, it's my sister's old phone, I just wanted to use it to charge the battery because my A1200 has the same battery and my usb port is not working on my A1200. I just ordered a universal battery charger to charge the battery out of my A1200. I just thought maybe there was a way to get it out of the flash mode so that i could charge my A1200 battery with that phone, sorry if it sounds confusing haha.

Well the phone is acting weird and this is all I can say.
