I flashed the firmware with qputusb following the steps described here moto-ezx blog: Прошивка test1, but the touchscreen is not working. I have an A1200.
I tried to run ts_test through ssh and it can't find /dev/input/touchscreen0. After I created a symlink from /dev/input/event3 to /dev/input/touchscreen0, ts_test runs ok, but touchscreen still doesn't work in qt. I also tried to restart qtopia by running qpe.sh but still no touchscreen. Also, the screen sometimes flickers with some horizontal lines appearing and dissappearing fast.

try following:
uncomment two lines in /etc/defaults/qtopia,
write to /etc/ts.conf:
and to /etc/pointercal:Code:module_raw ucb1x00 module linear
Code:-15705 -135 14374320 -163 -19273 18373512 51735
I've made the changes you mentioned and now it gets input from the touchscreen, but the calibration data is wrong. There is no way to calibrate by using the menus so i had to start the calibration app by ssh:However, the application doesnt receive input so I can't calibrate the screen. I will keep trying.Code:qcop 'QPE/Application/calibrate' 'raise()'
Which version of QTopia is it?? It's different from the versions posted here Index of /qtopia/firmwares/a1200/
Google Nexus One user - Motorola A1200 user
I finally calibrated the touchscreen. It was enough to uncomment the lines in /etc/defaults/qtopia and make no change to /etc/ts.conf. Then I was able to start the calibration app and now the screen works.
@Seby: It is Qtopia 4.3.4 built for a 2.6.30 kernel. Previous versions were using a 2.4 kernel so this one is not so functional.
whats the power management status of 2.6.30? thanks
