Well.. I said I wasn't going to try this firmware, but I did anyways becuase I was bored and wanted to experiment with this OS. Not trying to put any negative images of this firmware, but I found it kinda slow and as other posters listed some other things. I'm probably going to back to original firmware since it's still unstable.

As for the battery problem, it has already been solved!! You just have to read in this forum from previous posts. For you lazy people here is how to do it.

1. Turn off phone and take out the battery
2. Put battery back in (Don't Turn It On Yet!)
3. Now charge it. Leave it alone and it will start charging.

I know it works because i fully charged it. It shows not just 3 bars, but to the tip.

not usable as a dayphone, but a very good view what can happen in the future.

hi bro, i like this OS. what phone using qtopia OS as the original firmware not modified like e6. i have a plane to buy one phone again.
and i really like linux in my e6, i dont wan change linux OS in e6 with Qtopia.

this os is gr8,waitin for d bugs to be solved completly like, camera not workin,memory card,cannot charge like before we did, & joncis u will get bored of linux after some time its human tendency & moderators plz solve d issue waitin for it........
