Qtopia - New OS for A1200 qtopia-ezx-4.3.4-19.11.2008

i`ve download the last ver 4.3.4.19.11 but it is in bz2 format how can i change it sbf?
can i flash my a1200 c2 by this fw and rsdlite?
does this ver has any bug?

its a zip form in linux
u need 2 unzip it to get the sbf file

How you can do this under windows.

1. upload update to card
2. login via ssh
3. type

bunzip2 /media/mmca1/motod.31.12.08.bz2 && mv /media/mmca1/motod.
31.12.08 /usr/bin/motod

4. if all ok, type

killall motod && motod

you just have to download putty ssh client.

ad.1 how can i upload to card, when my phone isn't recognized by this prog ? (qtopia desktop...neither linux (didn't recognize) nor windows - didn't even start...) but, this is minor problem, i have a card reader, so...
ad.2 login via ssh...can u, please, be more specific? i'm most courius to do this..if i can connect via ssh, work would be quite more fun especially if i could ssh from my linux box...working on windows is sooooo ... frustrating...

For all who have problems with unpacking :
on linux type bunzip2 qtopia-blablabla.sbf.bz2
on windows: install 7-zip from 7-Zip and unzip as usual.

i'll try this patch for battery and performace, because sms messaging is soooo laggy....maye thiis would fix...

and for ftp - yeah, it's strange, now it's working...yesterday it didn't..well...

damn it...i've patched qtopia with this patch
(scp'ed it to phone), then removed old /usr/bin/motod with this one and...for the first time it claims - no permission...so
chmod a+x, them file is to big...but after restart works...now..i can't ssh to phone, and it claims, that battery is very low...wtf?
but, spedd has increased VERY, VERY much...it is now fast as never...

after some fight with this, i must give up...well...i'll reflash with qtopia again...and i'll patch with this patch with some pracausions... let's see where will it take me this time...
