Thread: porting qtopia

    @muromec
I was not able to correctly run it on my a1200 with 53p.

There is no /dev/input/touchscreen0 or /dev/input/event1 so i had to replace it with /dev/touchscreen/ucb1x00.
Then there are a lot of errors about connecting to dbus, about the database and some images appear but they are cleared by the ezx ui.

Maybe i didn't installed it correctly. It was configured with prefix=/ezxlocal/Qtopia so i had to do a mount --bind /mmc/mmca1/qtopia /ezxlocal/Qtopia because it wouldn't start before.

Can you please tell us how did you run it on a1200 and how to install it correctly ? From the variables in qpe.sh and qpe.env it seems that it is configured for neo1973.

Upload built image to phone to /ezxlocal/Qtopia/.

    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/ezxlocal/Qtopia/lib

    Run dbus-daemon --system
    Run hcid

    Kill motorola native interface:
kill $(pidof am windowsserver misc1 soundmanager)

    Run qpe:
    export PATH=/ezxlocal/Qtopia/bin/:$PATH
    export QWS_MOUSE_PROTO="Tslib"
    export TSLIB_TSDEVICE=/dev/touchscreen/ucb1x00
    export QWS_KEYBOARD=ezxkbdhandler
    export QTOPIA_PHONE_DEVICE="/dev/null:115200"
    export QTOPIA_PHONE_VENDOR=ezx

    qpe -qws & mediaserver -noshow

a don`t know difference between ming and e680i. try to run this binary build. if something not works - rewrite some handlers.

Thanks alot for this great porting!
Now I can run it on E2 correctly(though a little slow sometimes)
However, E2 doesn't have a touchscreen so I want to use 2 soft keys as "Options" and "Back"
Now the joystick keys , the dial key and the poweroff key work fine, but other keys can't work because they are not on A1200
Could you help me making the 2 soft keys work in Qtopia? The key codes seem to be 4152&4154.Thanks!

    Sorry for my bad English...
