Recently my motorokr e6 has not been functioning properly and i was thinking of getting myself a custom made phone.
But i decided to drop the idea because i was unable to find good people to do it and wanted a Linux-based phone and as you know a Linux based anything is Microsoft or apple without a fan base of extremely talented programmers.

Now if i make a phone only for myself then i will suffer problems as not too many people would want to work on a phone they r never going to use.

Which is y i went to a moto store to look out for a new linux based phone, but i wasn't impressed by any of the models.
So i was hoping if people who agree with me join in and share their ideas.

I had done some research and was really impressed by the goforce6100 chipset. Its got pretty much everything we could ask for.

Dedicated high performance 250MHz ARM1176JZ-S core
Hardwired acceleration for all processing-intensive multimedia and security functions

Support for all available DRM formats
Fully integrated, high quality analog audio subsystem
Integrated TV encoder and video DACs
Up to 10 megapixel camera sensor support

Ultra low power consumption even when running high-performance media features
Compatible with multiple network standards, including DVB-H, ISDB-T and DMB
Turn key, flexible and highly optimized software and multimedia firmware platform for shorter design cycles
iPod quality audio playback (I personally appreciated this point because I was majorly disappointed with my e690 audio quality)
Dedicated imaging pipeline for high performance mobile photography
Drives LCD displays up to WVGA resolution
S-Video TV-out
Connects to any network – Up to 3G cellular (HSDPA), WiFi , Bluetooth, GPS, WiMax (That's upto 4g so it will take a long time for the phone to become outdated)

Source : GoForce 6100

For the design i was hoping something slim and light.
Like the asus zx1.
Bar shaped ( i'm not quite a fan for flip phones)

The OS : MontaVista Linux 5.0 (Cant Think of anything else)

I hope people will add to this thread and motorola will review and take in to consideration the suggestions that we make.
