    at the moment it is not for end users.
    there is a good guide in E680i for installing and booting OpenMoko
    please be patient and wait for a final release.

    A big heads up for everybody:

    Sean Moss-Pultz announced a complete redesign of OpenMoko UI:

    A bit of the rationale of the overhaul. IMHO the UI became a lot better.

    OpenMoko is an Operating System. You cannot install it on top of current system. You need to replace your system with it or make it a dual boot device (like a PC with Windows and Linux).

    awesome os and i WILL be gettin the phone
    love the design and os and all - i miss the linux system since my pc died on me..and havent installed it since on my laptop so this device will be great and useful for uni and all that jazz
    one question
    will it have hand writing recognition - added for microsoft office and open office[just the usual apps like word processing and spreadsheet/excel (THIS I really want and need - would make life so much simpler)
    and when will the final release be available ?
    i was going to purchase the dev version but im rusty right now with modding java/linux etc lol;
    so id rather wait till the end consumer is released
    thanks once again motofans and aksd
