here is my experience.......
@ windows
1. using Partiton magic to format ur SD/MMC to EXT3
2. using Ext2IFS_1_10c.exe to read ur MMC/SD at windows
3. using 7-zip to extract the rootfs archive to MMC
@Linux (mandriva 2007.1)
1. make a new folder call openmoko in to the /home folder (in this case i'm using /home/andrei/openmoko)
2. copy the usb_boot @ this folder within the "zImage-2.6.21-a780-20070603144956.bin"
3. entering BL mode on to ur E680i
4. using konsole/terminal use this command .....
./boot_usb /home/zimage.bin (in this case i've used "./boot_usb /home/andrei/zImage-2.6.21-a780-20070603144956.bin
4. After execute that.... i've been entering black screen w/ tiny text (booting kernel proccess)
5. i stuck @ this condition..............i've got some message "init......
6. ONLY THAT, WHY?
