Default Motorola's long lived A1200 MING gets a successor: A1210

Say it ain't so! Some three years after the original A1200 MING drew attention overseas with its then-flashy design and Linux OS, we're finally hearing that somewhat of a direct successor is on the way. Oh sure, we've certainly seen others in the MING family surface over the past little while, but this one follows right in line even in name. The A1210 sports a 2.8-inch QVGA (400 x 240) touchscreen, a 3.1 megapixel camera, FM radio, tri-band GSM support, Bluetooth, USB, a TI OMAP850 processor and a microSD card slot. The most interesting part, however, is the homegrown Linux build that'll reportedly be loaded on. Sadly, it's too early to tell whether that system will be all new or partially regurgitated, but the Chinese market should be able to tell in the not-too-distant future.Filed under: Cellphones

I agree the LCD cover is cool and its nice to have screen cover that protects the screen but look at the Motorola Krave it has the same design but the biggest complaint on the phone was in lancape mode in full QWERTY the plastic cover gets in the way of typing and if Moto was SMART they would have used the E6 design and there would have been no problem in landcape mode. And think about the slim profile of the E6 it's 2009 nobody wants bulky touchscreen phones no more look at all the new touchscreen phones that came out there all SLIM. You guys have to understand people like me who use the E6 are tired are seeing 4-5 different Ming looking phones, It dosent make sense why Moto design team are all high off the design of The Ming. All I'm asking for is Just 1 succesor of the E6 not 4-5 Just 1. Thats why it ticks me off every time Moto keeps making the Same dumb design. And It's not even like there adding any new features look at the A1200, A1600, A1800 there all the same phone execpt GPS, RETARDED

    Actually no.
Comes with 2GB TF, maybe you can expand to 4GB but not 16GB.
