linux remix black theme for a1200

Are you sure that's the right file? I think you may have put a different theme in there. It's "gnome blue curve". In any case there is no .lin file to load the theme with.

I'd love to use this theme.

just open the .pskn file with skin installer or eakrins new splash and skin installer which u will find 2-3 post below enjoy.
