theme problem

if you use pthoshop,make the bckround trnsparent and save it to .png for great resolution of the icon and change the filename .png to .gif.or search gif editor that i post here at the forums,its easy to use,theres a eraser for you to clean the backround of icon so it will become transparent.
if it doesnt work send me the icon ill edit it for you.
your theme is great im happy more members making great themes,gudluck bro.

some icons has shadows so its not working with some icons

and one more thing, i should save the icon in which format after editing

Yea, if you're finding it difficult, best not to play around with it. Best bet would be to show us a preview of how you want the skn file to look like, and maybe we can help you with it.

but still i am not able to make the icon or any image transparent, i followed the steps that Konig told to me but when i install my skin they came with background.

Send me a couple of images. Ill see what I can do.
Also, check your pskn file for any line that has the code 255 255 255 that causes a white background on highlighting

in tumbnail what u'v icons transparens.. gif format can't used alpha blending, i means a really transparens like shadow.
in photoshop make pictures transparens n' then try to convert to index colors, in menubar, image,mode, indexed.. see u'r pict, what this really transparent..
i have been makes a motorola skins 4 long time from e398, moto not support .png image to icons, etc. just e2, e8, n' other like this, n sinerjy os that support the png images ..

i'm suggest to used photoshop.. i'm used cs4...
i'm just work with photoshop to make image or editing, n' coreldraw to make vector like logos .
i have been used photoshop for long time,
