I create Skin & Splash Installer for E680i too. No need to do anything for E6 skin. just put it in phone and install by skin & splash for E680i.
But some E680i-only-icon need to add or edit for more compatible![]()
This is how I installed E6 theme into my E680i.
For example I want to install Boby Tux Theme in the SD Card under the folder MyThemes/Boby Tux.
After unzip Boby Tux.zip file we got the Boby Tux folder which contain a few file. Just delete the *.pskn file. And for this Boby Tux theme just delete the BobyTux.pskn file as we are not using it.. Then move the folder (Boby Tux) to mmc/mmca1/MyThemes or which destination you would like to put it. So now all the file are at mmc/mmca1/MyThemes/BobyTux.
Next using the XpTools go the folder “Ezxsetupâ€. In the folder you can see many theme file i.e. *.dhm file. It’s depends how many theme you already installed. Next using the XpTools copy one of the “dhm†file to your diska or Sd Card for example iphone.dhm. Next rename the “iphone.dhm†file that you are copying to the diska or Sd Card to “BobyTux.dhmâ€
The next step is editing the BobyTux.dhm file. Using Ezx Editor, edit the BobyTux.dhm file accordingly. For example :
Theme Icon Dir = /mmc/mmca1/MyThemes/BobyTux
Theme Logo Icon = /mmc/mmca1/MyThemes/BobyTux/BobyTux.jpg
Theme Skin File = /mmc/mmca1/MyThemes/BodyTux/BodyTux.skn
And so on….
After saving the BobyTux.dhm file, again using the XPtools move the file to EzxSetup folder. Next using Theme Manger under Delete Theme menu you can see the theme available or not. To change to this theme, as usual go to tool, setup, colour scheme
This is how currently I am doing to install E6 theme to my E680i.
No need to ask Naset to convert E6 theme to E680i theme anymore…hehehehe….jokingly…
