microSDHC compatibility

I'm curious to know what max card size is for this phone. I read somewhere [maybe here] that it can handle higher than 4gb, but only 4gb is "viewable." I'm not sure what that means.

Could someone please let me know more information about this and if I can use an 8gb microSDHC card?
