Is your phone from TMOBILE?
i have a t-mobile branded zn5 and i would like to know the same thing. i just installed (appeared to install anyway) mobile google maps but when i try to run it, it tells me "this application cannot be used until you grant it permission to send and receive data over the network"
anyone know how to get this working? or is this just going to be an insurmountable obstacle with all Apps so long as the phone is locked to T-mobile?
T-Mobile has the handset locked down.
There is another board that more active trying work around this.
You can find it here...

Here is the main board for the ZINE.

Fortunately, there appears to be a relatively simple solution! Thank goodness!
Can't wait to try so I can save the trouble of returning this otherwise decent phone that I JUST got for my wife...
