    Default Closing applications

I haven't been able to figure out how to close applications so that they won't stay open in the background. For example the browser stays open in the background if jump to the home screen with the red button.

I would rather not keep all the applications in the background consuming memory and battery. Pretty weird that there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to close them. Any suggestions?

To close browser, press options whilst in browser...go to connection....u will see the ipen connection...press options...select close connection, confirm the action by pressing yes, press the red button to exit the browser and return to the main screen. I know this is a long way around but it works. Hope it helps....
