Hey. I was in the same boat as you until I found this today. Download Firmware Z8 - Firmware Flex Z3 Z6 Z8 Z10 I know its in Italian but its the only site that lists unbranded firmwares from what I can see. I am using the ESPOO_U_46.04.64G_2312c5_xu_RDRO_Germany_15Nov07_1.0_1.1_2312c5_z_23112007811 and its been working perfectly so far. So just download whichever one you want and extract it. To install it on your phone, just use RSD Lite. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Firmware is essentially the OS of the phone. So by flashing a newer one to your phone you might get some new features and the phone should generally run smoother. If your phone runs fine and you don't have any issues, I'd advise not to mess with it at all. But if you decide to, you'll need to have RSD Lite installed on your computer which will let you flash the new firmware to your phone.

hi all, today my z8 suddenly restart and it ended up having an endless restart loop. so i try to flash the phone using the ways you guys flash using rsd lite. but when i press start to flash, following error came up:

failed flashing processhone is not compatible with multi-interface super-file(0x703B)

Any one know what went wrong?
