Backup of the E1000 (Bootloader 0.6.1.2 only afaik) also PDS Backup is possible..

check bootloader version by
Powering up with the keys * and # pressed simultaneously

you must have Bootloader 0.6.1.2. Other Bootloaders do not work.

A complete Backup takes the program about 5-6 hours!!!!!!

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BACKUP WITH THE BATTERY......

you need a special usb cable like usb cable for a1000..

which you can attach your charger CABLE to, so it supplys power while data is in transfer.

Remove the battery from the E1000.
Connect the charger to the usb cable
Next attach the E1000 and keep the keys * and # pressed at the same time so that you enter the bootloader
! No need to press the power button also since the E1000 switches itself on.

Download a special version of randoms Flashbackup_2.5.rar

Connect phone with power off
power on with bootloader

Flashbackup will detect phone and in device manager there is the driver

'motorola flash interface'

In Flashbackup 'setup' add a tick to 'disable backup compression'

Then in 'Backups' "Phone memory size" - change to "64MB"
select - 'full backup'
then 'select loader'- change to 'e1000 (0631).ldr' (from 'RamDld Pack' folder)

Then click 'create'.

To restore the backup to the same phone connect as above and select the backup
file and click restore. This can be done using the normal battery on its own.

To restore the backup of another phone to your phone
First you need to make a PDS Backup of your phone so when you select the
restore option it will ask you for your phones PDS Backup and subtract it.

Remember this works with Bootloader 0.6.1.2 only!!!!!!!!
