Droid in India

Hi guies
can anyone plz tell me what is the price of motorola droid in India and where can i buy it.I am living at Bikaner in Rajasthan I have asked many mobile sellers about it but they told that they had no idea about the price and places where this product can be found.Some of them told me that Motorola company have closed its marketing in India.If it is so i try to purcahse Droid from any other country(if price will be suitable) plz tell me the way how can i buy it

Hey, droid (or milestone, which is the GSM version) has not been launched in India yet.
I ordered it form a UK site, Smartphones, Netbooks and Laptops - eXpansys UK .. it cost me 29k (including 2k shipping and 4k import duty :O ), and DHL delivered it to my place in delhi in 2 days
Its working nicely with my airtel SIM. Airtel Internet also works on it. I dont know whats the scene with the warranty, but I dont care right now..

Its a great phone, go grab it!

But can you tell me will Motorola release this product in India or not ?
I think it is very expensive.I have read somewhere that its price in USA is $199 only.Is it true ?

It's for $199 in USA with a 2 year contract, which is for around $30 per month.. The unlocked version in USA is also for around $550 - $600.

Droid will be available from this November 6 for all Verizon customers 199 $ with 2 year contract . When it come India , we don’t have any Motorola Android phone released here . So far we have HTC Hero , HTC Magic ,Samsung Galaxy in the India Android phone segment. As the price of iPhone and Hero is around 32000 , we expect Motorola Droid to cost around the same range in India . The launch date could extend to the first quarter of 2010 .

Milestone is available in India, and it has unlimited free motonav navigation!

Does anyone know how can I get the India maps in my phone? (maybe someone can share the maps..) Please help.. pretty please!
