Update.zip Installation Info & Instructions (No Data Loss):
-You can upgrade from any rooted ROM that is 2.0.1
-Be sure to have signed into your Google account before installing
-Update (if available) all of your apps before installing
-Download update.zip
-Uninstall any apk & odex files I previously moved to /data (Only If Installing Over 0.7 Or Previous ROMS)
-Place update.zip on the root of sdcard
-Reboot into recovery
-Install
-Allow update.zip installation
-Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)
-Enjoy!

Nandroid Backup Installation Instructions:

-Update (if available) all of your apps before installing
-Backup any files you wish to restore, this will wipe /data
-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR or a similar program
-Place the extracted folder (the ROM) into the "nandroid" folder on your sdcard
-Reboot into recovery mode
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe cache partition
-Backup/Restore
-Advanced Nandroid Restore
-Choose backup (select the ROM)
-Perform Restore
-Enjoy!

Being Motorola apologist for quite a long time I'm now expecting to receive my new gadget - Motorola Milestone to replace my ROKR E6. *hurray!!*
Just realized that this sentence actually introduces me as a noob into Android threads of the forum - but that's true

Basically not having a handset at my fingertips I have a question to you:

Can I apply "Bugless Beast v 0.1" to Motorola Milestone? (providing I have enabled root on my Milestone as per the instructions provided by DAGr8)

My second question is quite general - Motorola Milestone fact sheet says that Browser supports HTML5 - does that actually mean that embedded flash video is supported natively in the handset's browser? Or is HTML5 video different from the flash video?

shantanu, thanks mate, although I believe we're not on the same track regarding embedded flash video support for browser. please correct me if I'm wrong.
E.g. say, you navigate to youtube.com with your Droid browser - will you be able to see videos directly from there on the fly? (i.e. not opening it with different app of the phone)

well yes you will (why would you tho ? )

the youtube widget or app is realy fast and reliable , afaik there is no flash 10 support as of yet for android .

Rule of thumb : NEVER forget DROID and milestone only have specs in common they are in fact very different devices . and all they have in common is that they are both android devices .
