Help with making themes for E6/A1200

Hey guys , many of you might be knowing me bcoz I've been hanging around since a long time. Now taking a leaf out of Adil's book I have also decided to make some themes for E6/A1200. Been reading this GUIDE and found it a little complicated but very useful. So my only request to all those Masters of this field are to help me with any tip or info that you could provide. I hope I make something GOOD !!

dude i have not much knowlege about making theme but for making theme u have to download active perl

well i guess there isn't any easy way to do it...that's the best guide which is available....

THanks Shantu and Ashish I figured out that THAT guide is the only possible way that is why m following it very gradually , so that I don't leave any bugs in my theme. Wish me luck

First do basic stuff, i.e. GNB and Home Menu Icons then move on and regularly read that guide you will understand each aspects.
This is how I went about it.

Adil , Bangungot plz help me . I wanna get something for the active status of the GNB icons of my theme. I thought of an outer glow around the edges. Can someone plz teach me how to do it ??
I have included the home icon ( I didn't wanna spoil the surprise but had to ) . Please help !!

-Open in Photoshop

-Right click on the layer and select 'BLENDING OPTION'

-Select outer glow and put your attributes

-Done

Tip- Always just browse through google for photoshop tutorials, it will help you alot.

But now I know which icons you are working with.
