How to change .jpeg to .gif

Okay now the Title says it all , I wanna know how to change the .jpeg,.jpg,.bmp formats to .gif format. ??

I have got some beautiful wallpapers ( http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/m...s-qeilock.html ) , which I wanna convert into On and Off gifs of my phone. But all of them are in .jpeg formats .

Please help .

you can just rename the wallpaper to .gif to use it, and if you want to convert it just open it with any image editor and do save as and then select .gif

you can just rename the wallpaper to .gif to use it, and if you want to convert it just open it with any image editor and do save as and then select .gif

I found this method messy because it left my image blank until I changed it to the default extension. But that Gif animater proved to be quite useful.
