INFO: Skins for EXMMS

hey guys.

i modified a Winamp skin so it works now with eXmms, hope you like it, it was difficult, not sure if it's easier to modify or to use Xmms skins, everything is about the size of the pictures.

If anyone knows an easier way to create or modify skins please let us know, maybe donga have patterns.

For those who have never "installed" skins:
Unzip, copy the folder to ".system\QTDownLoad\exmms\.xmms\Skins"

NOTE: The screenshot is from winamp, but you may have an idea.

Where in the app do you go to change the skin?I put the skin in the asme folder where the orignal skins are located but how do you set the skin?

About modify, the problem as i mention is to resize the images, i.e. the size of the original "main" image in the skin was 275x116, the size of the main image required for eXMMS is 240x116. Unfortunately when you just resize the image, all inside it get smaller, like the buttons, so the buttons don't fit in the the right position.

It took me about 3 days to modify, cause there where a lot of things i didn't know, like what i metioned before. After i realized that what you got to do is use one of the default skins and try to fit everything. That's why i asked for a pattern, but maybe this weekend i'll have time to get the sizes of every piece of the skins and places. And i'll write a tutorial, i hope.

I'm using 0.2 beta version, if you are using the same you should be able to change the skin following the next instructions:
Open the menu at the top left corner
Select the option "Skin Browser..."
A list with all the skins in the folder appears
Select the one with the same name of the folder "zen"
Push Load

I'm not sure if previous versions work the same.

This is eXmms 0.2 Beta (Donga). I'm not sure if this is the last version, hope someone could tell us which is the latest version and upload or post a link. I read about a 0.21 but the post was confusing.

Im facing the same problem!!! never no which is the latest version! hope something is done for this confusion
