3gp has bad image quality imo. i use easy real media producer to create .rmvb files that work well using realplayer.

would real media converter convert straight from DVD?

i have not tried to use real media producer to convert straight from dvd so i do not know if it is possible. but even if it was, the quality would not be as good as it will require more processor power.

actually, many kinds of converter can convert dvd (vob) to mobile videos...
try these one: Total video converter, Charm dvd to rm, winAVI.
