As far as my knowledge goes, a firmware does not help java applications or games... all java games n apps work at the same speed on all firmwares...

U can try Heap Sizer... it is a pkg application... set the speed to 5, i.e. 4096 kb... u will feel a great difference in the speed of java apps n games... u can find the app in A1200 Application section...

try n report...
