    I knew this was bound to raise eyebrows.

    @DarkAvenger

    You called me sadomaster ...that was fine....

    Let us move on.

    I am not against the hyped ''open source'' concept , even Google Chrome is open source.My point is that my inclination towards Windows has been maybe because I was brought up with it and may be because I earn my daily bread and butter , testing hardware compatible to the mIcrosoft legend.I am NOT against Linux/Red Hat.It is just that it is too complicated to be true.Windows is what my ancestors used and maybe my future family may do it too simply because atleast in India after working 2 years in the IT sector I can definitely say that Linux has not been able to gather 5 percent support Windows has.I respect Linux for its transparency but Windows as I have already said is close to my heart.

    PS: The video was nice

    PSS:I am supporting Windows even after system crash made me lose around 120 GB of data--my music , photos, videos, documents.

    O_o ouch¡

    haha

    i must say, that an O.S is not for everyone, some users will prefer Windows, or Osx, or BSD, Solaris, Linux...

    Is based on the needs of the user, and the type of user you are, if you use your pc just for watching videos, reading mail, press ctrl+alt+del, watching porn, and messenger, windows is what you need. if you are a developer/webmaster and you want an stable, secure, powerful system with excellent graphics as option, would be much better linux, solaris. if you have a LOT of money and don't know how to spend it, and need a user ready computer with good video/pictures software, you will need mac... and so on..

    @Konig

    I need a pc too, i'm currently running windows from my toaster with 14" screen

    Hahaa!

    I could watch porn on my PSP too
    I could email,messenger,see videos through my blackberry too
    I could do everything else on my e6 too.
    The point is why I chose Windows for that and NOT linux.

    Everybody is NOT A DEVELOPER MATE!

    Secure ,Stable ,powerful ---? huh?
    What in the world would I do with a system with an OS loaded with nothing but complications that gives me a so called powerful packed features?
    I would rather spend money on third party s/w's rather than buying a free OS that will be too expensive for my brain.

    If you have the kung fu to boot from a CD, i would suggest a LiveCD "Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop" Download Ubuntu | Ubuntu
    You don't have to make any changes to your System to try out!
