    Thanks for the links, Swifty! I wonder if it is very difficult to get FreeSmartPhone running on an A780 or E680i? Has anyone else on the forums tried this? I'll see what I can find out from Michael Laurer's blog, too.

    depends on your skills.
    the easy part:
    you need an OpenEZX kernel in adition to run FSO
    the other thing:
    you have to bake an image using git.freesmartphone.org Git

    i for me wait, till Michael or someone else prepares a ready to go image.
    (if i can't wait, i will have a look at the gta01 images)

    Yeah - I've never done anything embedded or mobile, so I think I'll have to wait, too.

    I think that motorola SUX at being open-source friendly. The advantage with the motorola linux phones is that they are cheap and globally available.
