1. Ubuntu 7.04 (7.10 just never ran right for me)
2. OpenSUSE
I'm really anticipating the next Ubuntu distro since they're supposedly adopting a new look this time around.
Anyone with Gentoo?

My way was:
Mandrake 9.0
Mandrake 2005
Kubuntu 6.10
OpenSUSE 10.2
OpenSUSE 10.3 (Current)
At work I deal with many other distros (mainly SuSE and Ubuntu).
My favorite is OpenSUSE. I don't like debian/ubuntu systems.
Mandrake 2005 is the most stable system that I know. IMHO their new versions(I know 2007) are not so good as the old ones (2005/2006 for example).
Ubuntnu seems to be leading.
I am on Ubuntu 7.04 and managed to tweak it a bit with some help from here & there. My phone is A1200(Montavista).Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) is slightly bloated and not very good at hardware detection.
Gentoo!!!! is te best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sabayon second,
then Debian,
then Fedora,
then everything else sucks![]()
SxU
FC 8..
then Mandriva..
then Kubuntu..
(i prefer KDE desktop)
I am cute, amn't I?
i ve tried dsl and debian right now i use ubuntu gutsy gibbon and liked it most i first ever tried linux with ubuntu edgy
just like my avatar.... i choose OpenSuse 10.3
be a Linuxer...Go MotoLinux
I started with Suse 6,3 in 1998 an hacker paradise, Yast 2 on Suse 6,4 continued to make me enjoying this box...
then Redhat , some tiny distros (DSL on an old PII-> very nice FF browsing!).
I think Debian rocks, with Gentoo you have to tweak a lot before to use your freshly compiled linux, even if that is why this distro was made, an "apt-build world" do the trick...
I sometimes boot a fresh ubuntu livecd to see if it can suspend my laptop and how much power it consume...![]()
Say developer, but it's so hard!
...wich usually don't work (replying to myself)
I remember now that in fact I started with Suse 6.00,then I bought the big Suse 6,3 in a box (with yast2 and a lot of devellopment tools...).
Just for the history...
