i looked around and dint find any thread so i started one myself for a discussion on repos

any1 using a jailbroken iphone whith cydia shud be familiar with the term.. so wat we wud basically do here is share any info on good repos which would enable the general noobs and champs alike on getting the right repos with the least pain

Hi astalavstadear
i m currently on 3.0 firmware on 2G i m satisfied wd it
bt sometimes it becum slow n cydia crashes n i hav to make it
work by ssh into var/lib/apt/update n delete all files wd 0000, 0001 naming file
n i had install 3.0 two times as during downloading some theme from
cydia it crashes n shows only apple logo n keep on restarting so i had to install 3.0 n unlock it
using redsnow
* is this is just a rumor of virus only on jailbreak iphones Is it true

is it possible to unlock* jailbreak 3.1.2 firmware n use
on 2G iphone plz need information about new features n how to install 3.1.2 & unlock on 2G

just download a custom 3.1.2 firmware available online and install it.. guess u r new to the whole iPhone thing .. coz the number of repos u suggested shows the Over-Excitement level..just an advice ---> dun install too many repos.. it gets ur fone to go slow wen using cydia and shows unnecessary files.. also crashing can happen due to using beta themes.. happens wid me regularly .. lol for any other info send me a mail by copying the address from my signature

Most of these repo dont work on cydia as some of
them are for instalous.

Tell me if i restore with custom 3.1.2 fw on allready
unlockd 3.0 2G will it remain unlocked after resortoring wd 3.1.2
as i found during searching on net bt nobdy give perfect answer.
Help me regarding this

lol.. most of them are cydia auth repos bro

and for 3.1.2 ---> do u kno how to jailbreak.. if yes then u will need to re-do it ... and if not then just download a custom firmware 3.1.2 and then shift+restore it
