Flick Sports Bowling game debuts for iPhone

Freeverse Software has announced the release of Flick Sports Bowling, a new game for the iPhone and iPod touch. It costs $4.99.

Flick Bowling uses the iPhone's touchscreen interface.

The first of a new series of games planned for the iPhone and iPod touch, Flick Bowling is a tenpin bowling game. The game features six characters and a variety of different balls to choose from. You can select different difficulty levels, and bowl alone or against a computer-controlled character.

Flick Bowling uses the iPhone and iPod touch's touchscreen interface to let you choose your ball, line up the shot, and adjust the ball's velocity and direction.

Flick Bowling is compatible with any iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone 2.0 software.

Freeverse has also announced plans to offer other Flick Sports games, including fishing, baseball, basketball, golf and soccer.

I havent bought this one yet, and im not sure if I will. I was really disapointed with a similar game called 300 Bowl, it was a complete waste of money. I read some early reviews of this one, and as one person said 'once you flick the ball there is no telling where it will go' It was the same story with the other bowling game. Maybe if they drop the price Ill try it out, but for now Ill keep my $6 for when Grand Theft Auto - China Town Wars is released for the iPhone.
