    Default Need some help!

    hey guys!
    though this thread is not related to any of motorola phones but it is related to the os Linux.
    I have Backtrack 2 and Knoppix,but on both of them i am not able to run my broadband internet connection provided by MTNL using D-Link router, i have connected it to my pc using the USB cable.
    can anyone help??

    are you able to connect to the router??

    Ubuntu did not have drivers for my lan cads so i was not able to connect to the net.

    otherwise i had no problem once i got the drivers..

    (im on BSN broadband by the way)

    I am able to use the router to connect internet in Windows.
    But in linux internet is not working, though router shows connected.

    And since i am not connecting through the ethernet cable (lan card), lan card drivers will not have any effect.
