u might be refreshing the phone memory
or else remove your tf card and master reset the phone

recently i came across this problem and then i formatted my memory card and put the same data back on it...after tht i was able to refresh my library/..

I'm having the same problem of refreshing media library, it gets stuck. I tried formatting the SD card and also master reset the handset, it works. But when i put all the application back again the same problem start again. I don't know what should be done??????

I have faced this problem too. The problem is there should be one corrupted audio file in your SD Card. The easy way find out that is , play every song. If the song is corrupted that song will not play. Real player displays some error like, cant play. Delete that file, voila real player refreshs flawlessly

i also had d same prob when i searched one mp3 file was crpt when i opened dat file real player closes automatically & i deleted dat file & everything was allright.

This is the same problem that i have
It is because of songs having long infomation i.e. TITLE,Genre,Artist,Album etc.
take procedure below>
1.Go to everyfolder having media files & sort them by <Name>
2.Go to real player & refresh the memory.
3.Watch the process.Remember the %age where realplayer exits.
4.Refresh again & when it reaches near that %age press cancel.
5.Now it has some media in library that is arranged folderwise alphabetically.Go to AllMedia and look for the last song.
6.In filemanager go to the folder having that song and play songs next to that numberwise for 10 seconds each.Remember to Sort by name before doing.
7.Then you find a song, that after playing that realplayer automatically exits .
8.Delete that song.
9.Refresh again.If again exits before 100% refreshing repeat the procedure and delete faulty songs...
