I tried using MGMAP. Used jar file to install, then copied cache. To work offline, I checked offline and stroed map.

Then i wanted to allow access of cache (user data read ), but there is only one option in drop down "access denied".

Any way to provide access to user data for A-1200?

you'll have to give permissions to the jar application to access your memory card.

well since airtel has unlimited download for only 7 rs so i use it full time
all u gotta do is download google maps inot ur phone (the internet vesion)it has got map mode ,hybrid mode,satellite view etc online for any place in the world,+ a very handy search tools to help u get 2 ur place quickly, 10x zoom(sat view)



also i have this application called mobile gmaps
now its advantages are a lot over google maps
its got a GPS,and its maps are served by many providers including yahoo,wikimaps etc
google is not currently in thtr list but soon
UK &US user can also get trafic info. 8x zoom,sat+ hyd+map view

actually previously google was in there list.. it's in there new version they have removed it on request from google guys..
