Newbie need help .-.

Hello guys using gphones, i just got the my new gphone google g1 & its truly amazing. As i was an e6 user bfore, i need some help about basics that how to install themes & some usefull softwares & from where can i get them (mostly free). & i have some questions,
1.what r cupcakes & how to use them?
2.My gphone is unlocked, i.e, i can use any sim in it, but i wanna know about accessing file system on it. I think i cant use themes on it still without going to that.
3. That installer mode, comes out when menu+power button is pressed, is not opening.
4. Also i wanna know how to play videos in it. & what video formats it supports? if possible provide me video converter software.
5. How to send & receive files via bluetooth? i saw some website saying it doesnt support file sharing via bluetooth, but is there any software? like some file explorer having option to send file.

its firmware version is 1.5 & baseband version is 62.50s.20.17h_2.22.19.26i
does i need to flash or anything? plz guys help me as soon as possible! a gr8 thnx. BTW its still a rocking mobile
