Root Access for all G1 users!!!!!!

finally here I way for you guys who have lost root access to get it BACK!

Instructions:

1. Format the SD card to FAT32 mode
2. Copy image file XXX.nbh to the SD card and rename to DREAIMG.NBH
3. Turn the device power off and insert Diagnostic SD card
4. Hold Camera button, and press Power button to entry Boot loader mode
5. Press Power button to start upgrade procedure
6. After finish, perform the soft reset to reboot

I'm glad to see a senior member, I'm old too. "root access" makes sense to me, "rooted" and "jailbreak" don't.

ok i'm new to this....root access allows me to save apps directly to my sd card?? where do i get a diagnostic sd card?

Having root allows you to do a lot of things such as saving apps to the S.D. The link i provided shows how to save apps to the S.D. I will be doing my own wright up about doing this. I don't recommend this because it makes your phone slower.
