The reason i started this thread is to find out how many members we have on our site using the G1 an what kind of work your doing with the G1. Im really close to posting my first theme an a how to install guide so that will be coming soon I need to get this section in the forum more active so if you have a G1 stop here an let me know.

I don't have an Abdroid phone so I am confused and need to ask some stupid questions. Why is your theme a G1 theme and not just an Android theme? I am thinking of going Android and haven't picked a phone. If the the themes are different on different phones, do I need to consider which themes are available for each phone?

Well there just like a1200/E6 themes are different from the a780/a680 but can be modified to work on each other. Really there are only two people who even know how to do what i have done an i am one of the two . Im sure there will be people making themes for other android phones but it wont be easy an i don't know who. Get a G1 other android phones will be more locked down. I would get a Dev 1 which is open for all sims an has root by default also has a Dev boot loader.

Abdroid Phone, it souds available. But it is reported that it will appear on the market in September 09. Is that true?

Its 400$ unlocked/locked does it matter? They all could be jail broken and modded just like my ming.

hmm... I must say that dosen't sound too bad, but I must ask how is the battery life on the G1 and the wifi cause Those are must for my new phone, if they are good I will get a G1 mid feb.

The new battery's coming with the phones are better,i also picked up an extra just to have but i love my G1. I have a Debian Installer an Bootloader.
