Hey I'd just like to say I'm very impressed with your work here at Motorolafans and crazy excited that you decided to pick up the G1 This is great news as I lost my E6 sometime last year T_T and have been saving up for a new phone.

I finally got my G1 about 3 weeks ago for $230! I was crazy happy! (I find good deals! )

I used to have att prepaid but now that I have my G1 I am going to sign up for T-mobile flexpay (I rather would have liked to do the $20 unlimited data prepaid from att but they stopped that )

But anyway! I used to be an active member when I had my E6! and I think I'm going to start up again! The first thing I'd like to do as soon as I get some free time is to make some sweet a$$ skins!

I don't know how hard it's going to be but if it's just a matter of making buttons & backgrounds in photoshop\illustrator I'M IN!

It's great to be back! on the best forum out there for phones! period.

Craigslist! You gotta live in or close to a very competitive city. I live in Daytona Beach but I go out to Orlando if need be. Daytona craigslist sucks because they don't think the people in daytona know what the real prices are, so they overcharge. (So it's probably good for selling) but basically spend about 2 weeks or so on craigslist and you WILL find a deal! The guy I got my G1 from got it as an X-mas present and he ended up hating it (how? I have NO IDEA) but anyway it was practically brand new, no scratches or anything like that.

I don't know how Auburn, NY is particularly, but New York is HUGE. Give it some time, don't be afraid to spend some gas money (people are pretty good about meeting up halfway) and the key rule, Check it (at least) EVERYDAY. because you're definitely NOT the only one looking for a G1!


People who leave their phone numbers are the best! call them/txt them immediately!

look I know you're scared about getting a used possibly damaged G1 but think about it man when people get s*** they don't want their first thought is... hmm how much could I sell this for and how fast? So they keep 'em as clean and as unharmed as possible man they don't take em outside.. etc.

I don't know. Honestly to me, It's not worth the $70+ dollars on ebay to get brand new. seriously.

lol I'ts not that I'm scared I'ts the fact why risk getting a damage G1 or getting scammed and I wouldent buy my brand new G1 off of ebay anyway, it would be just a hassle if that happen, so I'd rather buy a brand new G1 with a WARRANTY and know there won't be no hassle.
