You are NOT allowed to:

— create multiple threads for the same item.
— cross-post within the Garage Section for the same item(s)
— sell items on behalf of others or sell items not in your possession
— post links to your auction in eBay or sell an item in the form of an auction
— sell illegal items like pirated, burned or "backup" software, games, movies, music
— sell any forms of hazardous materials, weapons such as guns, knives, even decorative or collector's stuff like swords (this includes replicas of weapons)
— sell pornography or sexually explicit materials
— post polls of any nature
— sell tickets in any form: any commercially ticketed event such as sporting events, tickets to theme parks, concerts, etc. Scalping is an illegal activity and Motorolafans.com would be liable for any damages sought in a case involving the resale of tickets.
— sell lotteries or any form of gambling activities
— Do not spam on this section, I will delete your post/thread without warning, and if i see that you continue, an ISP ban will be issued

You are REQUIRED to:
— post a Total selling price for all items (please include the currency)
— keep your threads consolidated instead of creating one for each item you're selling

Best tips for Both Parties:


• Stay away from "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE" deals.

• Make sure to take down the trader's contact information. Ideally, ask for a home address and number as well as an e-mail address. Try to verify this by calling that home number.

• BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS when dealing with members with a low post count . We understand everyone has to start somewhere, but we have to be careful just the same.

• Beware of feedback that was left by another new member.

• If you're looking at eBay feedback for reference, verify this by sending them an e-mail. Ask whether they are indeed the member from Motorolafans.com.

• If you are contacted by e-mail or by instant messaging, be sure to verify that the sender IS the member at Motorolafans.com. Send the member a PM to confirm that he/she has sent you that e-mail or IM.


For Buyers:

• ALWAYS pay with a Credit Card when using PayPal so that in the event you're scammed, you can request a charge back from them.

• Be careful when send Western Union payments, EMTs or Money Orders when buying stuff online. (always trust the person who you are sending money to)


For Sellers:

• NEVER ship an item without receiving payment first, unless you're dealing with a reputable member.

• A VERIFIED PayPal address helps. Keep in mind though that some countries are not able to confirm their PayPal address.

• When selling/trading phones, keep a copy of your IMEI or ESN. If the buyer claims to have not received it, you can report it as lost with the major carriers and will render it useless. It's also possible the buyer can claim it doesn't work and switch it with a defective unit he owns when he ships it back. Actually, this applies to anything with serial numbers.

• COUNTERFEIT MONEY-Always take the time to inspect every bill received, before the buyer leaves (If you deal with Meetings).

In the event the buyer is not a member of the site, Inform me via pm or in your thread and i will lock it.
