Have you tried this soft? I've got "file access denied"

Wlasnie wyprobowuje ten programik i dziala swietnie.
acces denied jest dlatego ze pliki QM skopiowane z telefonu sa tylko do odczytu. Zmien im atrybut odchaczajac ta opcje.
PS Nie uzywaj polskich czcionek w tym programie bo zostana one zakodowane w windowsowym formacie i telefon nie bedzie ich wyswietlal prawidlowo

Hi there! Thanks for a great guide!

I'm trying to add a greek keyboard to a russian firmware. I successfully follow the instructions from booster's original post and the ones from mischka's posts, but I'm having an issue: When I use booster's mkcramfs.exe, I end up with files that are much smaller than the original .smgs. More specifically, my files' sizes are as follows:

old CG34.smg -> 9,437,184B
new CG34.smg -> 8,499,200

old CG412.smg -> 12,713,984
new CG412.smg -> 10,469,376

All I 've actually changed is the russian .kbd, the default font and the filenames of 4 .gifs. Any suggestions about what I'm doing wrong?

I'm using cygwin running on virtualbox on top of ubuntu...:s I know it's silly, but for the time being I don't have a windows box and I had trouble following the process on linux.

for purposes of editing language qm files you can also try to use QMpare from http://ezxcodec.medoosa.ru
the archive though lacks english readme, but as soon as i translate it, i'll update it
