Hi.

Can anyone tell me how to add startup script support to generic firmware?

And also, how can I include telnet as an option for usb mode.

Please help me swifty, aksd, amin or anyone.....

You need to edit the generic firmware CG43 to get telnet as well as startup scripts.

you need to add certain binaries and libraries to enable telnet. And to get startup script you need to the script to etc/rc.d/rc2.d/ or any of the rc$.d where $ is a number.

Is there a way to include ssh server also along with telnet. I mean when phone is connected in usbnet mode ssh server is started automatically

I have some questions about fireware editing

a) How to change the tab names in the menu (User1 and User2)
b) how can I make ssh server start along with telnet in usbnet mode
c)can I replace inbuild calculator with xcalc
d) How to change telnet profile to login into bash33 by default instead of bash

One more questions:

1: What binaries to add for telnet (and where in CG43?)? I added many binaries but telnet option does not show in the 'usb mode' menu.
Maybe you should write a tutorial for people like me.

how can i create .pkg applications for E6 on windows i mean is there any tool and tutorials please help me...
i works on .NET.... So What can i do from it????

if i can make any firmware....
actually i don't want to mod any firmware i want to write a new one....
due to i m a windows user its pretty tough for me to work on linux so suggest any windows tool to do this particular thing... & its great if i make it on .NET
