    Done!

    But you might have to enhanced the scripts, sometimes, wich should be done by adding some options on mount, tar or mkfs.cramfs commands (CG are cramfs files, and contain tar files, IIRC).

    Also, the "system" CG (CG43 on E6, CG44 on A910, and perhaps A1200) will not work with it, you'll have to use some tricks.

    First these CG are not like the other, and yes, try to live without editing them, if you can, cause it's a lot more complicated!!

    -They have a descriptor thing, you may have to rebuild it (dunno how to handle this!).

    -Then, the "system CG" have a numerous hexa characters header... try to add/suppress the "FFFF" ( hexa F characters) _with an hex editor_ before the cramfs file.

    -They also need to have always the same size, for the phone to recognize it as original this can be done by adding (also in an hex editor) the necessary amount of "00" at the end of the file, to equalize the original CG's file size!

    BTW, You can also find greats tools here:
    (compile the GREAT sbf.c!! )
    Revision 2349: /trunk/src/host/ezxflash

    Thank you Imahotguy for this guide / starting such a good thead!

    It seems CG43 is the "system" CG only on some phones (E6), but It's CG44 on A910..
    CG42 is the A910's LP, and also CG43 is the config CG on A910.

    Happy modding!

    Really? But i have a stupid question, then... How do you make a symbolic link, on windows? In general, editing and rebuilding a cramfs linux root filesystem is not the best idea... Though it could work sometimes

    @sabrod
    No problem just use an linux txt editor and open symbolic link file and edit it (I prefer to use TextPAD!)
    Also Beyond Compare 3 can do this for you
    The Only Problem Is working with file access that you should handle that for any file you added and this become complicated when you want to change a symbolic link to a real file in EZXCODEC it's a Night Mare the only way is compile your file without that file a time then unpack it again and add whole real file - It work for me - Have Fun...!
