Pls Help! I can't connect through USB Storage

Just now I do setup of Belcarra USB LAN driver by:

Installing the belcarra driver to C: Program Files\Belcarra\USB LAN

Tried to do telneting (in red) for backup by following this from the guides:

backing up for reflash

this steps will not gives total backup, ie not 100%. but it does give an almost complete one.
this is only for e680i reflash, not for e680 to e680i. but the same method does work, altho the settings file might differ slightly, thus settings are not completely restored

backup everything you have in /diska
in telnet:
# cd /diska
# tar -zcvf /mmc/mmca1/diska.tar.gz .
or using samba, just copy everything in system\diska to a folder in pc

backup everything in /ezxlocal/download/appwrite
before performing this, ENSURE you change to the first default theme, the red one. <- VERY IMPORTANT!!
restart phone, then
in telnet:
# cd /ezxlocal/download/appwrite
# tar -zcvf /mmc/mmca1/ezxlocal.tar.gz .
or using samba, just copy everything in system\ezxlocal\download\appwrite to a folder in pc

What happened. Is it I need to be in the Red default theme before I do this??????

I dont really get the problem? Note that this is only for reflash, so that if you flash from E680 to E680i you dont have to do this.

I'm using a phone which is E680 flashed to E680i using the original shx and CG33/CG35 updates.

1) The good thing is that .... now I was able to see now my phone and SD card storage after several boots.

2) I installed the belcarra driver when I was prompt when I put in my acmattach.txt into my sd card.

3) I tried telnet by doing backup following from the guide:

backup everything you have in /diska
in telnet:
# cd /diska
# tar -zcvf /mmc/mmca1/diska.tar.gz .
or using samba, just copy everything in system\diska to a folder in pc

4) I can't find any visible files from SD card which signifies that I already do the back up. I have only on my SD's system files the following.

SD/.system/java

am
downloadApps
JAMInfo

Is it hidden inside?

You need to edit /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_idle.cfg.

So you're trying to make a backup? In that case you can use the way in the sticky in the e680 forum 'super cool blablablabla', and then go to the folder /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup, select everything there, do control+c, and paste it somewhere on your hd. Als copy all the files in /diska to your hd, then you have a backup for when you want to reflash

you have not telnet in if you cant see the /ezxlocal folder. follow the telnet procedure first.

the reason why you have to change to the default red theme before backing up your setup files is so that after flash, if you restore your setup files which contains installed theme settings, then your boot will fail.
