Pictures allocated to contacts disappear on Sync

Anyone have any idea to get around this problem?

Everytime I sync with the software to Outlook 2003 it will clear the ringtone and picture assigned to a contact.

Is it just me or is there a way to get around this as I want to be able to sync to my pc and back without having to reassign this to several contacts over and over again.

Not to worry, found out that if I delete the contact from the phone, recreate the contact on the phone, then sync it keeps the photo and assigned ringtone intact.

Must be some sort of creation ID on it to work out what to sync what way...
