E680i battery problem - Date time is reset!!

Dear all,

My e680i will reset the date and time to year 2000 automatically when it is out of battery! Anybody have the same problem and how to solve it?

the internal battery has run dry.u need to change the internal battery.i had the same problem too.juz don't take off the phone's battery if u don't want to set back the time and date.

I am boring to set the date of the phone again and again. Recently I open the phone, I found there is a battery name Sanyo ML414 with 3V in it.

The 414 means the diameter is 4mm and 14 means 1.4 mm, it provides 3 voltage. So, I look for the same battery for my E680i, but it's hard to found in the market.

Finally, I found a space next to the cell phone battery and I wired a larger battery (1025=10mmX2.5mm) in it. My phone relive again...

ML414 your can charge it . it is rechargeable battery
