You can create playlists. Here's what you do:
1. Create an active playlist with all of your music.
2. Connect phone to PC in mass storage mode, browse to system/java/Download Apps/MIDlet(some number)/Files/NeoInstalled.
3. Copy the file mp3player.pl to your desktop, and change the extension to .txt.
4. Open the file, and also an empty wordpad/notepad.
5. Just copy/paste the songs you want in a playlist to the empty text file.
6. When you're done, save the file, change the extension from .txt to .m3u, and save to your phone.
You can make as many playlists as you want now.
I created my own equalizer settings in a similar manner. Now I have perfect EQ for headphones, my car, and the built-in speakers.
When you change EQ settings in the mp3player, it is stored in the file mp3player.config. I just copy those settings to the file equalizer.config.
Anyway, I hope that helps.
